Despite making the user interface and experience of our mobile application easier to navigate, we still notice that most of our customers struggle with navigating through our all-in-one mobile banking application to access their pension account.
The most frequently asked questions are usually: How do I access my pension account through the mobile application? How do I switch from my bank account to my pension account? Is there a separate app for a pension account? What if I can’t remember my passcode? I forgot my RSA pin. How do I retrieve it? Can I download my RSA statement from the mobile app? Are there other ways I can access my pension account that would be easier?
We want to create a video that will guide our customers through the whole process of navigating their pension account from the mobile application.
The Solution
I created 3 explainer videos using royalty-free and Creative Commons 2D vectors, animated each of them based on a provided script, voice over, user interface design screens, and brand guide to follow. Each of the explainer videos addresses the customer’s frustration about using the mobile app, website, and USSD code without internet to access their pension account.

The Process
I used the voice-over as a guide to create a storyboard that lays out the animation process and how each scene is going to look in the outcome, before proceeding with editing the high-fidelity vector illustration asset to align with the brand guide in Adobe Illustrator, then the final animation in Adobe After Effects, and making minor adjustments to the initial prototype.
