As part of TVC News Rebranding, some new programs and shows were introduced, and we need to create an opening montage for them, one of which is “TVC Insight”. TVC Insight is a current affairs program that will focus on issues in and around the country, by taking a closer and deeper look into political, economic, and social issues that people barely see or place emphasis on daily.
We need something modern that will also speak to our new brand and all we are all about, as first with breaking news…

The Solution
I needed the montage to represent the core aspect of the program, which is a deeper look at issues. I made a few sketches of objects that symbolise these things, and decided, along with the creative director, to go with the magnifier as an anchor for the design, using the latest design trend by designing a vector magnifier along with the news logo to create a 3D montage while maintaining the brand and style of TVC.
